History

RaceJunkies.com was started back in 2003 as No Limit Racing which was a group of friends interested in the automotive scene, most importantly the drag racing. Back in 2003 we all had to leave our wonderful island “Aruba” to continue our studies, some of us went to different cities in the US and some of us went to Holland and some of us stayed in Aruba. To keep in touch while we were all in different countries we started a BBS. It was started with the name No Limit Racing, but after a while we decided to change the name to something that better represents what we are RaceJunkies. Our BBS/Forum started with only a few friends but then it grew to have over a 1000 members which included fans from all over the world. After a couple of years we returned to the island and changed our focus. While on the island our focus was to cover Drag Racing in Aruba so that our friends abroad were able to see what was going on in Aruba.

RaceJunkies.com way back in 2004.

We started covering Drag-Racing in Aruba full time in 2008, back then there was almost no one taking pictures of Drag -Racing events. In 2010 we started livestreaming the local races, everybody could tune in and view the races happening live! But due to budget and staff constraints we had to scrap the livestreaming. We continue taking quality pictures and recording video of all races that happen at our racetrack; Palomarga.

Our team has grown  a bit during the last few years but our focus has not changed, bring the best quality content for everyone interested in Aruba Drag-Racing. Whether pictures or videos we strive to have the best quality content on the island and we are there whenever there is a race. Rain or shine RaceJunkies.com is there.
